The Annual Christmas at Meadow Croft
John Ellis Roosevelt summer home and now a historical museum on the border of Bayport & Sayville – (Middle Road) See this beautiful home decorated for Christmas including an upstairs room with a multi-media exhibition of works of art by Women Sharing Art December 5 & 6, 2009– Saturday and Sunday only 12 noon to 4 pm both days Admission $5 Decorations will be raffled and given away at the end of the day on Sunday.

Women Sharing Art Inc. member Aida Wolmut Dancing Krakowiak Tu Ge Derï was selected for the 2009 Embracing Our Differences art exhibition on the grounds of the Long Island Museum in Stony Brook. (A project of the Suffolk Center on the Holocaust, Diversity & Human Understanding, Inc. www.chdhu.org) It was one of thirty works of art enlarged to 16’x12′ for this out-door exhibit running from September 26 until October 23. It opens again in the Spring of 2010 at the Nassau County Museum of Art in Roslyn, NY.

Women Sharing Art member, Lynn Rein will be one of the 40 Photographers selected to exhibit at: “The 29th Annual Juried Photography Show”-Sponsored by The Long Island Arts Council at Freeport. The event will take place at the Freeport Memorial Library, in Freeport. The show will begin on June 1st. and continue through June 28th. The Awards Reception will be held Thursday, June 4th, from 7-8:30PM.
