Animal Kingdom: From Tame to Wild – Long Island Museum

Pat D’Aversa, Doris Diamond, and Eileen Palmer have had their art pieces selected as finalists for the 2017 Long Island Museum’s juried art competition.  The exhibit Animal Kingdom: From Tame to Wild includes 75 finalists, out of nearly 300 submitted. You are invited to see their work as well as works by amateur and professional artists from across Long Island (and a few from across the nation) working in all media and all styles, resulting in an exhibition of beautiful, exciting and thought-provoking imagery from the animal kingdom.

Artist Reception: Join us on Friday, September 15 at 5:30 when we’ll announce the winners at an artists’ reception.  It’s open to the public and light refreshments will be served. The show is open in the museum’s Visitors Center through October 22.  The address is Long Island Museum, 1200 Route 25A, Stony Brook, NY.
